Opened in September 2011, Taverners Hall is a new purpose built accommodation development for UCP students. It consists of 54 student bedrooms, set within a combination of 2 and 5 bed flats in four separate blocks.
The site is situated on Lincoln Road, close to the junction with Taverners Road, just a 10 minute walk from the UCP Park Crescent Campus, and a 5 minute bus ride (or 15 minute walk) to the city centre. Limited car parking is available.
Each 2 or 5 bed flats have a communal kitchen / lounge with sofas, breakfast bar, range of kitchen units and appliances, including cooker, fridge, freezer and microwave. One of the 2 bed flats has been designed to suit disabled use.
Each of the 54 bedrooms includes en-suite shower room, study area, bed, storage and shelving. Rental costs are inclusive of utilities bills, including Wifi.
There is also a common room and a laundry room to serve the entire development.
The well-lit, secure landscaped grounds, including cycle store, is accessed by an electronic gate, and covered by CCTV, with 24 hour emergency call out.
Bookings are on a first come, first served basis upon submission of an application form which is available from the UCP reception.
