Media & Journalism Centre
The Media & Journalism Centre is where the College's Media courses are taught, which include journalism, video production, audio and photography.
The Centre has recently gone through a big transformation and has now moved to a new location on Broadway in the centre of Peterborough. This new state of the art facility which is packed with £750,000 worth of cutting edge facilities including a digital television studio, video and audio editing suites, three industry standard radio studios and extensive still photography facilities.
Our media courses offer a whole range of opportunities to get hands-on-experience as well as learning all about the industry. If you want to work as a newspaper or radio journalist, magazine editor, TV presenter/researcher or camera operator or maybe enter the world of publishing, marketing or advertising, then you've found the right place to start!
Students can work on the in-house College magazine, S-Xpress, to get a taste of what it's like to write headlines or develop photographic or video-editing skills.
