Peterborough Regional College

University Centre Peterborough (UCP)

The new University Centre Peterborough building opened in October 2009. The building is located adjacent to Peterborough Regional College on the Park Crescent site in close proximity to the Thomas Deacon Academy, and creates a new education quarter in the city.

UCP is a joint venture involving Anglia Ruskin University and Peterborough Regional College and builds on the College's and Anglia Ruskin's growing reputation for high quality degree provision. This new facility contains 'state of the art' teaching facilities including a lecture theatre, two dedicated IT laboratories, open access IT suites and general purpose teaching accommodation with full audio-visual and IT facilities. Refreshment areas as well as a student support centre including Student Union space is also located within the dedicated building.

The new centre will not only increase university participation in the city, but will also provide essential links with businesses inevitably helping to improve workforce productivity and business development within the region.
